Wedding Wednesday: A Brewery Wedding

Congratulations to Noteworthy couple Emily and Emile!

Emily and Emile came into NoteworthyNotes looking for a wedding invitation that perfectly suited their day. The couple had selected Revolution Brewery as their reception venue and needed a rustic feeling invitation to match the theme. We quickly decided on a custom invitation so that they could achieve the exact look they wanted.

The main invitation is a 3 layer card. Emily and Emile chose kraft paper for the bottom layer to give the invitation a more casual rustic look. The middle layer chosen was a soft pink to pull in the color of the bridesmaids dresses.

Emily wanted the text to be white on a brown top layer. To avoid the expense of engraving or foil stamping, we decided to print the top layer digitally. Starting with a white sheet of paper, we printed a brown background. The parts left without ink form the words of the invitation in white ‘ink’. FullSizeRender (3)

In lieu of a reply card, Emily and Emile directed all of their guests to rsvp via their wedding website. Their details card also highlighted important information about their reception following the ceremony.

Emily and Emile returned to NoteworthyNotes to work on their wedding programs for the ceremony. Using the same kraft paper from the invitation with a dark brown ink, we copied the same modern text layout to keep these pieces cohesive.

Wedding Wednesday: Save the Dates

With engagement season in full swing, we have been busy meeting with all new brides. The best place to get started on your wedding stationery is with a save the date. Save the Dates can be either fun or formal, whatever you think is the best insight for your guests into your upcoming wedding day.

Add an instant personal touch with a picture of you and your fiance. Your picture can take up the whole card, or you can crop the picture and add a border.

You can even incorporate more than one picture! Having a picture collage on the front of the card gives you plenty of space for your information on the back of the card.

Timeline save the dates give your guests the full history of your relationship. This is a fun way to share the story of how you met your fiance with all of your guests.

Save the Dates can also be text-based cards. Using the right fonts, colors, and layout can help set the tone for your wedding day. You can use some imagery to make these cards more personal, such as a skyline view of the city or a palm tree for a beach wedding.

Congratulations to all of the newly engaged couples! We would love to work with you to create the perfect wedding stationery. Visit us at noteworthynotes.com to see our work and schedule an appointment.
