Mitzvah Monday: Glitter, Gold & Bold

We love featuring invitations for Mitzvah celebrations that just took place. We especially love when the invitation is beautifully crafted and our clients are happy! For today’s Mitzvah Monday, all three of those characteristics are true in Olivia’s blue and gold glitter invitation.

Olivia’s custom design is one to remember. She chose to print her invitation on an off-white paper atop a gold-glitter and blue card stock for added thickness and a tri-layered effect. Printed in gold shimmer and blue thermography, the information she included on her invitation was accented with Hebrew lettering and gold hearts.

Olivia included two insert cards to accompany her main invitation. Her Party/Details card and Reply card were done in matching colors and printing styles. We love the creative way she chose to use a full and broken heart to indicate a guest’s reply. Too clever!

The Reply card also came with a pre-printed return envelope.

All invitation pieces were enclosed in a square gold shimmer envelope with custom address labels and sealing tabs (image below). The continuation of Olivia’s blue and gold glitter-heart “theme” were beautifully accented throughout the whole invitation creating a unique uniform look.

Overall, this one of a kind blue and gold invitation was perfectly crafted for Olivia and her Bat Mitzvah celebrations. We enjoyed working with Olivia and her family and appreciate being apart of their special day. Mazel Tov!

Wedding Wednesday: A Sparkling New Year’s Eve Celebration

Today’s Wedding Wednesday feature is Lara & Pierre’s sparkling New Year’s Eve wedding invitation. Bright and beautiful, this invitation was elegant yet festive and encompassed the couple’s style in a custom design.

Printed in black thermography on an ivory card stock and stacked with two additional accent layers (black and silver/gold sparkle), this invitation boldly and elegantly set the tone for the couple’s New Year’s Eve wedding.

The unique wording layout on the front of the main invitation highlighted specific party information by changing between block and script fonts. The calendar date of their wedding was especially highlighted; located in the center of the invitation and accented with motifs this drew the guest’s attention immediately to the celebratory date!

By including the wording “Black tie optional” at the bottom of their invitation, guests were reassured of appropriate attire considering the dual events of the evening (image above).

insert cards

Lara & Pierre included two insert cards with their main invitation. The Accommodations and Response card were printed in black thermography on ivory square cards. Script and block fonts were used in addition to a single black line border surrounding the information. On the Response card, guests were given the option to respond to the event in three ways: “Accepts with Pleasure – Ceremony & Reception”, “Accepts with Pleasure – Reception Only”, or  “Declines with Regret”. Requesting this specific information of your guests allows for the Bride and Groom (and other planning parties) to be fully aware of who will be attending each event of the day. This is especially helpful if there are capacity maximums at your locations in which you need to be mindful.

The entire invitation was enclosed in a matching ivory envelope with return address printed in matching fonts on the seal.

What a way to start a new year! Congratulations to Lara & Pierre from NoteworthyNotes.
